Greetings Oasis parents.
 
  • OASIS DURING LENT
     YES, we will be having Wednesday activities during our Lenten season.  Please join us at 5:15 for our Lenten soup suppers, then gather      with us as a family in the sanctuary for our Wednesday Lenten worship service. 
     After the worship service, Oasis WILL be meeting in the crossroads until 7:30pm. (see the schedule below for specific details.)
  • WE NEED YOUR HELP MARCH 11 and APRIL 4/5
    The March 11 Lenten Soup Supper will be hosted by Splash/Oasis youth and parents.  Please mark your calendars.  We will need lots of help in MANY ways that night (preparing soup, making a dessert, serving, clean-up etc.) Look for a follow-up email with sign-ups  to come in the next week.
All proceeds from the supper will go directly into our youth accounts to help off-set costs during the year.
ALSO, mark their calendars for the Easter Breakfast on April 4th and 5th.  Flood and Oasis Youth with their parents will be  providing  service-project help with set-up, serving, clean-up for this special Easter  breakfast event.
  • 8th GRADE FAMILIES
     After Easter, invitations will be sent to 8th grade families for the annual confirmation banquet.  We will need a RSVP number of how      many family members you will be bringing.  Please start sharing the date (April 28th) and having these conversations NOW. 
  • LUTHERAN LAKESIDE CAMP
      Bethesda has chosen week SIX (July 19-24) as our camp week at Lutheran Lakeside.  Pastor Jesse will be there that week!  Although this       is Bethesda's sponsor week, you can choose any week or camp to attend.  Be sure to use the code when registering (blames24). 
      This way we can keep track of who is attending and be sure to give you a scholarship.

    • March 4:  Following the worship service, 6:45pm Small groups/service project prep
    • March 11:  Splash/Oasis HOSTS Lenten soup supper starting at 5:15. 
                  Oasis will deliver care packages in small groups from 6:15-7:30pm
    • March 18 - SPRING BREAK - NO YOUTH PROGRAMS -  Soup supper at 5:15pm and worship service at 6:15pm
    • March 25 - Oasis will deliver care packages in small groups from 5:45-7:30pm
    • April 1 - NO JOKE.....only 8th grade confirmands will meet on this night!
