As parents, YOU are the primary passers of faith to your sons and daughters. At Bethesda we want to support you in that journey! Our programming is designed to nurture children and youth through formative years and spiritual experiences.
The following programming takes place during the school year.
SPLASH Children's Church
Following the Children's Message during each worship service, the youth are led upstairs by the teacher.
Dive into God’s word with a Splash by way of age-appropriate Bible lessons that correspond to the readings from that were just read during worship.
OASIS Middle School Confirmation
OASIS Sessions: 7:00 - 8:00 pm every Wednesday during academic year.
Confirmation Hangout Time: 6:00 - 7:00 pm prior to OASIS
Learning about the foundations of the Christian faith from a Lutheran perspective, large and small group times, attendance at worship, 8th grade mentorship, service projects and forming new friendships.
FLOOD High School Youth Group .... 8:00 - 9:00 pm every Wednesday throughout the academic year
FLOOD provides a safe and welcoming environment for exploring the Word of God in community with other young Christians during high school. Plus, FLOOD includes fun games, and a well-stocked completely FREE refrigerator of drinks and cupboards of snacks!
Parents and Guardians, please put on your calendar that the ELCA National Youth Gathering (30,000+ high schoolers and young adults and 10,000+ chaperones and volunteers) will be in New Orleans from July 16 - 20, 2024!
