Come join the O.W.L.’s, Bethesda Lutheran’s fellowship group for Older, Wiser Lutherans! Whether you’re newly retired or have been enjoying the golden years for a while, O.W.L.s is a good opportunity for enjoying lively conversation with friends old and new, listening to engaging guest speakers, and playing games.
Thursday, November 12 - Darla Best, Bethesda member, will speak about what she has learned about the Amish lifestyle and religion in her 24 years of working with them to sell their homemade baskets and crafts. She will bring a display of the basket and crafts that she sells.
Thursday, December 10 - O.W.L.s Christmas Party. Bring a wrapped white elephant gift for the gift exchange (if you purchase a gift spend no more then $5). Join us for the gift exchange and singing of Christmas carols.
